Journey description
D2: Breakfast in board, and for people who want, visit Llanchama village, with the possibility to collect around specimens in small rivers. Navigation during the breakfast, then lunch and entry in the National Reserve Allpahyayo-Mishana. Arrival to the village of Mishana where the inhabitants will show you their fishing zone the most successful. Diner and night in board.
D3: Excursion in the forest from Mishana accompanied with a local guide to discover the colonies of monkeys and the flora of the area for people who want it. Back to the boat for the breakfast, and navigation to the village of Lagunas with collecting of specimens in its gorgeous river, then back to the boat for the dinner. Night excursion with the speed boat to observe the caimans and theirs red eyes shining in the dark. Night close to the village.
D4: Breakfast in board, then walking in forest approximately one hour from Lagunas to reach another village: Samito. Discovery of the craft, then back to the boat for the breakfast. The afternoon will be dedicated to the collect of diversified specimens, around the lakes. Possibility to organize a second night excursion in gardens in the research of tarantulas. Diner and night in board.
D5: Breakfast in board during the drop of the Rio Nanay. We will make some halts during the navigation for new sportive fishing sessions this time, to look for huge specimens (notably ). It will be necessary to struggle a lot to have theses impressive species, by their sizes, but also by their battle power. Diner and night in board.
D6: Breakfast in board and end of the route on the Rio Nanay to the arrival in Iquitos planned around 10am. It will be time to leave the boat and to visit the installations of Raul Yalan to let your fishes. You will discover his ponds, aquariums and many tropical fisches. You will settle the exportation of your fishes, knowing that the specimens collected have to be in quarantined at least 2 weeks and obtain the official authorization to leave the territory, the health certificate, essential for the entry in the European Union. Once the details done, transfer at airport.
The program will be adapted according to the season and to the conditions of navigation. Also it can be adapted with you particular interests. It must bypass March-April: period of high waters which makes hard the collection of ornamental fishes.
